Welcome To Superwoman

Superwomen!

Over 160 women attended Superwoman 4 which took place on 16 October 2008 in the Copthorne Hotel Culverhouse Cross. Thanks to such a great attendance we raised £5,600 for our charities Valleys Kids and Trust for Sick Kids. This was our highest amount ever and as much as we raised in Years 1 and 2 put together. Thanks again to everyone who attended and to all our sponsors for helping make the evening such a success.

Superwoman (like women in general) is an event that multi-tasks. We heard from four wonderful speakers - Menna Richards, Caroline Oakley, Gwenda Williams and Betsan Powys. They made us think, made us laugh and they each inspired us in different ways. We also heard from Margaret Jervis at Valleys Kids how some of the money Superwoman has raised over the years has made such a difference to disadvantaged families in the South Wales Valleys and that made us feel good about ourselves. After that we had a nice glass of wine and networked a bit which soothed our souls and built our businesses and then we went home with a goody bag crammed full of treats. All that in the space of just one evening. How do we do it?
