Crown at Celtic Manor Lunch 29 April 2010
Our lunch at the three AA rosette Crown at Celtic Manor on Thursday 29 April 2010 sold out within three hours of being advertised. Little wonder when the price for the delicious two course lunch with drinks reception sponsored by Gocompare.com was just £25, £6 of which went to Gocompare.com's chosen charity, the Joshua Foundation. Award winning chef James Sommerin is executive chef at both the Crown at Celtic Manor and the Crown at Whitebrook and popped in to the lunch to say hello to the Superwomen.
A raffle with prizes kindly donated by The Celtic Manor, Hodge Bakshi Chartered Accountants, Smiles Dental Care, Park Plaza Hotel, RM Financial Advice and Suzanne Jaya and Dominique Knott raised a further £250 making a total donation to the Joshua Foundation of £473.85. Photographer Hazel Hannant donated her services for free and photographs from the event can be seen here.
